Newcastle Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (UK) Branch and Newcastle Hindu Temple successfully hosted a Blood Donation Drive on 26th February 2019, with an overwhelming response from the community. With only 25 donation slots available, the event quickly exceeded expectations, with 38 enthusiastic volunteers stepping forward to participate in this noble act of selfless service (Sewa).

The enthusiasm and dedication of the participants were truly inspiring, reinforcing the spirit of community service. Recognising the success and impact of this initiative, the organisers have decided to make the Blood Donation Drive an annual event, aiming to broaden participation to include all ethnic minorities and encourage wider community involvement.

Everyone is welcome to take part in this meaningful cause. The next Blood Donation Drive is scheduled for 4th February 2020. Community members are encouraged to spread the word among friends and family to continue making a difference.
