On May 19, 2019, Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (UK) Leamington Spa Balgokulam marked its 5th anniversary, celebrating this milestone alongside Varsh Pratipada. The event was graced by Town Mayor Councillor Bill Gifford, Director of the Leamington Half Marathon, and West Midlands Vibhaag Sanghchalak Dineshji. A Bhaudhik session was led by Rajen from the Coventry Branch.

The celebration was largely organized by young sevikas and swamsevaks. The Town Mayor shared that he had been inspired by the idea of “the world being one family” and expressed that he would now begin his speeches with “Brothers and Sisters.” It was a proud moment for Balgokulam to hear him reference Swami Vivekananda’s iconic Chicago speech.
