HSS (UK) Bromley Branch Sewa Charity Walk in Support of Samaritan
Living the value of Sewa – selfless service to society, the HSS (UK) Bromley Branch organised a Sewa Charity Walk on 13th September 2025 in support of Samaritans, a charity that provides emotional support to people in distress.
The walk took place at Lullingstone Country Park, bringing together over 60 participants from the community. People of all ages, from young children to senior participants, joined the initiative, reflecting the collective spirit of service and compassion.
Through the generosity of participants and supporters, the initiative successfully raised over £1,300 for the Samaritans. The Sewa team from HSS (UK) Bromley Branch later presented the cheque to the Samaritans Bromley & Orpington Branch coordinator on 20th October 2025.
The event served as a meaningful reminder that small acts of service, when done together, can create a positive impact in society. The HSS (UK) Bromley Branch continues to promote the spirit of Sewa through community initiatives that support social wellbeing and unity.
