Conquering the Heights: Nepal Annapurna Circuit Adventure
Five determined adventurers from Hindu Swayamsevak Sang (UK) – Satishji Shah, Dr. Hridesh Gupta, Balwant Mistry, Hasmukh Mistry, and Navin Mistry—embarked on a thrilling journey to complete the Nepal Annapurna Circuit from 13 to 25 April. Over the course of 12 days of intense trekking, they faced extreme conditions, breathtaking landscapes, and the ultimate test of endurance.
The expedition saw the team traverse the formidable Thorong La Pass at 5,419m, followed by a significant stop at Muktinath, a revered Hindu pilgrimage site. Their journey continued with an additional climb of 3,210m to reach Poon Hill, where they were rewarded with panoramic views of the Himalayas.
Beyond the adventure itself, this trek was undertaken for a noble cause—raising funds for the Maharashtra Pune Centre for Children with Hearing Impairment. At the time of publication, they had already collected a staggering £5,748, with aspirations to surpass £7,000 in total contributions.
This journey exemplifies the spirit of perseverance, charity, and devotion. Their efforts not only highlight the power of human endurance but also serve as an inspiration to support meaningful causes through adventure.
