HSS (UK) Sale Shakha took on a unique Sewa project during the Durga Puja celebrations in Manchester on 14th October. The team not only participated in the prayers and festivities but also used this special occasion to introduce Sangh’s work to the wider community.

The event was structured with a blend of spiritual, cultural, and physical activities:

  • Two Sevikas delivered an insightful introduction to Sangh’s mission and activities to the assembled public.
  • The Balagokulam team performed a graceful Ganesh Vandana followed by an energising Surya Namaskar.
  • The Kishor Gana demonstrated their skill and discipline through an impressive Niyudh pradarshan (martial arts display).
  • The Shikshaks engaged the Bala Gana in lively and interactive khel (games).
  • A quiz and bauddhik session on Durga Maa encouraged thought-provoking discussions about the significance of Shakti and inner strength.

With over 100 people in attendance, the event successfully showcased the spirit of Sangh and the importance of collective strength and service. The attendees left with a strong, positive impression of the Shakha Parivar, and many expressed their keen interest in further engagement.

The central message of the day resonated deeply:
“There is a Durga in all of us, and we carry within us the power of the infinite. Let us channel this strength to support each other and bring our communities together.”

This Sewa initiative not only strengthened community bonds but also reflected the true essence of Shakti – the power of unity, resilience, and service.
