Sewa UK Contribution to the National Park and Environment

In addition to the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, our CTA team took part in a litter picking event on 20 May 2018, along the route. We successfully collected 6 large bin bags of litter, receiving plenty of applause from fellow walkers. This initiative was so well-received that we’ve decided to make litter picking an annual event moving forward. Furthermore, we are encouraging participants to reduce their use of plastic bottles to minimize environmental impact.

As part of our commitment to preserving the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Sewa UK has also donated £500 to the Yorkshire National Trust for the ongoing path maintenance and upkeep.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all participants over the years for their continued support, which has brought immense satisfaction to our volunteers. A special thanks goes out to the many group leaders who dedicate their time to bring participants year after year. Our CTA Team Volunteers are doing an incredible job, and we want to make sure everyone knows that your efforts are deeply appreciated by all those involved.
